1. Who you are contracting with
Neurolism, Zurich, Switzerland. Contact: info@neurolism.com. Full details on the imprint page.
2. What the service is
Neurolism gives you access to language models through a web interface, a desktop application and an HTTP API. The models are open-weight models operated on infrastructure we rent; which model answers a given request depends on your plan and on what you ask for.
The service is not a source of truth. A language model produces text that is plausible, not text that is verified. Neurolism is built to say when it is unsure, and that design makes it better at admitting gaps than most - but it does not make its answers correct. Do not rely on an answer for a medical, legal, financial or safety decision without checking it against a source that is accountable for being right.
2.1 Availability
We aim for the service to be available, and we do not promise a percentage. It runs on infrastructure we do not own, the models are operated by third parties, and a promise we cannot keep is worth less than an honest sentence. Planned maintenance is announced in the app where it is long enough to matter.
3. Your account
You need an account, and it is yours alone. Keep the password to yourself; anything done with your credentials counts as done by you until you tell us they were lost. You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
One person, one account. A business account is for one company and may have as many API keys as it needs.
4. What you may not do
The short version: nothing illegal, nothing that harms someone, nothing that breaks the service for others.
- No content that is unlawful where you are or where we are - in particular no sexual content involving minors, no incitement to violence, no material that infringes someone else's rights
- No use to build weapons, malware, or systems whose purpose is to deceive people about who they are dealing with
- No automated mass requests outside the API, and no attempt to work around the limits of your plan
- No reselling of access, and no use of the output to train a competing model
- No attempt to extract the system instructions, to reach other customers' data, or to test our security without our written agreement
If you break these rules we may suspend the account. Where the breach is serious or repeated we may close it. Where money has been paid for a period that is then cut short, we refund the unused part.
5. Your content, and what we do with it
What you write stays yours. We claim no ownership of your prompts, your files or the answers you receive. We process them to deliver the service and for nothing else.
We do not train on your conversations. Not on the free plan either. This is a decision, not an oversight: a service that trains on what its customers write has an interest in them writing more than they need to.
The service sends your request to the company that operates the model, and stores your conversation on our application server. Where each of those runs is listed on the privacy policy, by name and by country - including the part that is inconvenient for us. If you switch on web search, your query leaves our systems and goes to a search provider; the app says so before it happens.
Nothing you write is analysed. Not for training, not for statistics, not for profiling. We count how much of your limit is used, and that is a number rather than content.
Swiss processing is available on a business account. We run a server in Switzerland for customers whose requirement is that nothing leaves the country; it has its own deployment and its own contract. The standard plans do not run there, and the privacy policy says by name and by country where each part of them does.
You keep the answers and may use them for any purpose, including commercially. Bear in mind that a model may produce text similar to what someone else receives, and that output is generally not protected by copyright.
6. Plans, prices and payment
Prices are shown on the pricing page and include Swiss VAT. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your account; the plan then runs to the end of the paid period and stops.
API credit is prepaid, drawn down per token at the published rate, and does not expire while the account is active. It is not refundable in cash, and it is not transferable between accounts.
Usage limits are part of the price. Every plan has a limit per five-hour window and a limit per week. The app shows how much of each is left. We publish the shape of these limits, not the exact numbers: they move with load, and a number printed here would be wrong within a month.
We may change prices. An existing subscription keeps its price for the period already paid, and we tell you at least 30 days before a change takes effect. If you do not accept it, cancel before then.
7. Cancellation and deletion
You can cancel a subscription and delete your account yourself, in the account settings, without asking anyone. Deleting the account deletes your conversations, your files and your profile. Payment records are kept for as long as Swiss accounting law requires - ten years - because we are not allowed to delete them.
8. Alva, the browser agent and purchases
Alva, and the browser the desktop app can control, act only on your instructions and on your behalf. When they order, book, buy or send something, the contract is between you and the shop, airline, restaurant, platform or recipient, never with Neurolism. Their prices, terms, delivery, returns, warranty and privacy rules apply, and questions about an order go to them.
Every binding step, meaning buying, booking, paying or sending, waits for your explicit click. Before you confirm, check the product, quantity, price, date, delivery address and payment method shown on the page. By confirming, you give the instruction yourself.
Alva never types passwords or card numbers. Where a shop offers payment on invoice or a payment method you have saved with it, Alva may choose that option. The invoice then comes from the shop or its payment provider, and you owe it to them, not to us.
An agent can make mistakes: it can misread a page or pick the wrong variant, and a shop can show outdated prices or stock. We do not guarantee that an order, booking or message is correct, complete, available, delivered or cancellable, and we are not liable for damage from orders, bookings, payments, cancellation fees, delays or non-delivery, except where liability cannot be excluded under section 9.
Reminders, routines and heads-ups before appointments are aids. We do not guarantee that they arrive on time: push notifications, email, calendars and public timetables are run by others, and timetables change. You remain responsible for your appointments.
You are responsible for the accounts you connect and the websites you let Alva use, and for complying with their terms. If a website blocks automated access, we do not work around it.
9. Liability
We are liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health, without limit. For everything else our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event.
We are not liable for what you do with an answer. That is not a formality: the whole point of the design is to tell you when the model is unsure, and acting on an answer without checking it is a decision you make.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Substantive changes are announced by email and in the app at least 30 days in advance. If you do not accept them, cancel before they take effect; continued use after that counts as acceptance.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland. If you are a consumer, you may also sue at your place of residence, and mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence stays untouched.
12. If a clause fails
Should a provision of these terms be or become invalid, the rest stays in force, and the invalid provision is replaced by what comes closest to its economic purpose within the law.
